SUGGESTED PHOTO EQUIPMENT
In all our expeditions we advise our participants regarding the suggested equipment according to the destination and type of photography we will take.
For Kenya, taking into account that most of the itinerary is focused on wildlife and nature, we suggest:
- 1 or 2 camera bodies. For point-and-shoot cameras, at least 200 mm zoom is advisable.
Lenses: we suggest lenses that cover a range between 24 and 200 mm, at least. Ideal up to 600 mm. This is thinking exclusively about wildlife photography.
Remember that this expedition is for photographers of all levels. If you’re just learning how to use your camera and don’t want to invest in expensive equipment, that’s okay.
Before our trip, we will be holding an online meeting to clarify doubts and answer any questions you may have.
We are willing to advise you on everything related to photography, including equipment, if required.
As for clothing and other equipment suggestions, we will send you an expedition welcome pack in plenty of time before you travel, giving you more details and suggestions on what to bring.
Do I need to be an experienced or professional photographer to undertake this expedition?
This experience is for photographers of any level. We recommend downloading a PDF of your camera manual to your mobile phone. If you need any advice regarding equipment, or photography classes before the trip, do not hesitate to contact us.
